Coalition MP De-Anne Kelly’s call to increase coal exports to reduce the threat of climate change is highly irresponsible says Anja Light, local climate change campaigner.

“How can the Federal Member for Dawson, whose electorate includes some of the most beautiful parts of the Great Barrier Reef, be promoting increased greenhouse gas emissions through coal exports when climate change (caused by greenhouse emissions) is the greatest threat to the Reef?”
